Neighborhood Business DistrictA neighborhood business district (abbreviated to NBD) is the commercial and often geographic heart of a neighborhood. It often is the place where you can expect to find a collection of businesses that are, by and large, unique to that neighborhood. Depending on the size of the neighborhood itself, NBD’s can be as small as a few store fronts or as large as several blocks.
