To be effective, Juvenile Justice Consultants must have a comprehensive knowledge of the juvenile justice system; principles and practices related to security, treatment, and supervision of juveniles in the community, and residential programs; and a significant knowledge of criminal justice prevention programs. Our principals possess these essential capabilities and can plan, develop, and help you enforce policies, and achieve compliance with state, local, federal and ACA standards and regulations. Our interdisciplinary team can assist your managers, staff and others in the performance of their duties. This includes creating and managing budget and human resource functions; effectively communicating organizational changes to staff; and developing, managing or reinvigorating working relationships with community stakeholders, government agencies, legislators, the judiciary, and the public. Thanks to our regional and state government operations experience, our principals can direct and coordinate large-scale projects, including those involving court services units, locally operated facilities, and privately operated programs, providing services to the juvenile justice system. Our duties can include the development and implementation of programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, in order to achieve the agency mission. We can work effectively with the judiciary, government officials, and the public, on the deployment of resources, oversight, and control of budgetary expenditures for the region, and compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
